We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible and experienced Paid Social Manager to join our client and their innovative marketing team in London.

This retailer is going through significant growth and continues to buck the trend in retail. They have a significant presence in the UK and recently the US. They continue to open new stores with new openings globally. They work on a hybrid basis 3 days in 2 from home.

Role Overview:

As a Paid Social Manager, you will manage our clients digital marketing efforts, focusing on optimising and expanding their paid social campaigns across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, with the potential to explore other social media channels. Your goal will be to support the ambitious plans by strategically acquiring new customers and enhancing the value of existing ones. You will work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to identify and develop new opportunities that drive overall sales and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Collaborate with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to manage and evolve current paid social marketing campaigns, predominantly on Meta platforms. Your role will blend agency collaboration and direct execution.
  • Budget Optimisation: Ensure performance goals are met through effective budget management and optimisation strategies.
  • Creative Development: Craft compelling ad copy and targeting tactics to captivate our audience.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct proactive analysis and reporting, using data to inform recommendations and drive decision-making.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on paid social media trends and best practices to ensure top-notch execution.
  • Global Support: Assist in paid social activities across various territories, including core markets like the UK, US, and Germany.
  • Opportunity Identification: Spot new online opportunities within paid social to boost customer value and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Customer Retention: Support the retention marketing team to drive repeat purchases and customer reactivation through online channels.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor campaign performance and metrics, continually seeking improvement.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with agencies and suppliers to access the best services and technologies.
  • Content Recommendations: Work with the Ecommerce team to recommend and brief new content for paid campaigns.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Perform in-depth reporting on campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for future activities.


Success Metrics and KPIs:

  • Achieve sales performance targets from paid social channels, balancing new and existing customer needs.
  • Enhance the efficiency of paid social channels, meeting cost targets.
  • Identify and capitalise on market opportunities and mitigate threats with strategic plans.


Person Specification:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role with a strong paid social marketing, especially on Meta platforms.
  • Skills: Excellent campaign planning, project management, and analytical skills. Familiarity with digital agencies and audience management tools is a plus.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage your time.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in online marketing platforms like Facebook Business Manager, Adobe/Google Analytics, product feeds, and merchant centres.
