The Role
- Developing and executing effective PR strategies, including press releases and articles for targeted media outlets and digital channels.
- Proactively securing media coverage through interviews, feature stories, and guest articles.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key media contacts
- Collaborating with internal teams to align PR initiatives with overall marketing efforts
- Monitoring and evaluating our online reputation and PR activities using tools like Meltwater.
- Assisting in coordinating corporate communications materials and events.
- Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Professional qualifications and membership in CIPR, CIM, or PRCA preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience as a PR Manager or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in media monitoring tools like Meltwater and Sprout Social.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital media landscapes.
- Experience with social media platforms for PR.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Creative thinker with innovative PR ideas.
