Job Title: Client Services Director – B2B Field Sales

Location: Hybrid working, with several days expected in field, Watford Office or London.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Salary: Competitive base salary with On-Target Earnings. 

Contract: Fixed-term contract, initially for a period of 3 months.

There is potential for this role to be extended beyond the initial term or converted into a permanent position (subject to business needs, mutual agreement and satisfactory performance during the initial contract period).

Job Summary

The Sales Director is required to lead, develop, and grow one of our company's leading technology clients, specifically by managing a high-performing team of sales agents. This team is tasked with achieving and exceeding high-volume B2B sales targets for the client's products and solutions. The successful candidate will own the relationship between our company and the client, ensuring all sales project objectives are delivered on time, both internally and externally, taking full ownership of the team's performance, growth, and quality control.

This project spans multiple European markets with opportunities for future expansion.

Role Responsibilities

Leadership and Sales Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales agents tasked with high volume B2B sales on behalf of our client.

Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to drive client growth and achieve set sales targets.

Team Performance Oversight: Manage and oversee the performance of Business Development Executives and Field Sales Managers, ensuring they meet and exceed sales goals.

KPI and Sales Target Achievement: Ensure the sales team consistently achieves and surpasses set KPIs and sales targets for B2B product and solution acquisition.

Client Relationship Ownership: Maintain and enhance the relationship between our company and the client, ensuring all sales project objectives are met.

Sales Project Management: Take full ownership of sales projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery both internally and externally.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Regularly monitor sales performance, providing feedback and implementing quality control measures to drive continuous improvement.

Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to support the client's business growth in multiple markets.

Client Satisfaction in Sales: Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any sales-related issues promptly and maintaining a high level of service.

Sales Opportunity Expansion: Identify and exploit opportunities for future sales growth within the project, aligning with the client’s business objectives.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development to the sales team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Cross-Functional Sales Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and alignment with overall business goals.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs, ensuring continued project success.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with technology clients and a good understanding of technology products and solutions.
  • Knowledge of advanced sales techniques and methodologies that drive high-volume B2B sales.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales management tools to track performance and manage client relationships.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends, informing strategic decisions.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively to identify new sales opportunities and strategies.
  • Strong networking abilities to build and leverage professional relationships for business growth.
