On behalf of our client, an award-winning, independent integrated communications agency, we are seeking an Associate Director with a hybrid PR & social skillset to lead its portfolio of high-profile sports and consumer PR clients, with a large focus on providing consultancy to Stonegate Group, the UK’s largest pub group.
Our client's PR and social divisions are looking for a passionate, business-minded expert comfortable providing brilliant consultancy to help take their business to the next level.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the delivery of multi-channel, integrated communications and social strategies for our clients, working across the PESO model and generating measurable results with demonstrable business impact.
• Provide confident, considered consultancy for our key clients on PR and social strategy and activation, maximising their budgets and our resource to drive industry-leading results
• Help to define and launch an integrated influencer proposition for our client that we can bring to new and existing clients
• Work in conjunction with the agency’s Heads of Division (PR and Platforms) to support teams in delivering strategic brand work for our clients across the PR and social mix
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the best possible hybrid PR/social talent in the UK market
• Collaborate with the agency’s creative, planning, sponsorship, and social teams on integrated campaigns
• Financial management of the agency’s largest client pillar (Stonegate MiXR lifestyle and students offering): forecasting and team resourcing, activation budget management
Requirements:
• Experience at a leading consumer PR or social agency. Previous in-house experience at a UK consumer brand would also be desirable.
• Experience working on successful PR/social hybrid campaigns for a variety of consumer brands.
• Proven management skills and ability to run highly effective teams to deliver outstanding results.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and creative environment.
• Entrepreneurial and commercially savvy.
• Extensive consumer media contacts.
• Strong financial and business acumen including responsibility for managing own budgets.
• Ability to lead winning new business pitches.
• An engaging, inspirational team player with a can-do attitude and excellent work ethic
