A superb opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager line managing 1 member of staff.

Supported by the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy and create innovative marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget across a portfolio of cyber events and digital products. They will manage a 365-marketing campaign to drive engagement, registrations, sales and retention across different customer groups.

 Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • Marketing planning, strategy & analysis across the portfolio (events, publishing, media)
  • Creation and delivery of the marketing plans & strategy across various marketing channels including website, newsletters, direct mail, email, advertising, partnerships, social media, SEO, PPC, PR, and more.
  • Management of all planned activities across the portfolio (events, digital publishing) to budget and           agreed schedules.
  • Monitoring of response rates for key activity and creating action plans to maximise     future results or to reduce lack of response
  • Campaign creative and branding – launch of new products within the portfolio
  • Deliver analysis on program/campaign performance, with a focus on ROI, revenue, and attribution. Use insights to drive future campaign plans
  • To understand and ensure budget control and maintain cost trackers and be able to accurately report to senior management
  • Copywriting and delivery of content campaign across multiple marketing channels
  • Work across departments to create engaging content to feed into the campaigns
  • Managing all digital marketing platforms using a variety of digital marketing tools.
  • Create and deliver digital campaigns to inform and engage different audience groups across various channels including production, delivery, and reporting of emails, webinars, newsletters, website (not limited to)
  • Relationship building with visitors, exhibitors, and prospects to improve market knowledge and input findings into the development of the events and communication plans
  • Partnership research, outreach, acquisition, and renewals across media and associations
  • Negotiating and brokering partnership deals.

Essential skills and experience for the Marketing Manager:

  • 4 years or more in marketing, (with at least 2 years in exhibitions, events, product subscription based or publishing but not essential)
  • Big picture thinking, adaptability, and resilience are key attributes of your character
  • High competency across all forms of communication – you have excellent written communication and proof-reading skills but also you love talking on the phone and having face-to-face conversations
  • Strong analytical approach to your work but balance this with creativity
  • Extremely well-organised and have excellent presentation skills
  • Competent use of most Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, ideally Canva
  • Strong copywriter
