We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing who will play a key role in shaping and executing innovative marketing strategies to promote services and the company brand at a local, national, and international level. You will be based in the St Albans office and travel to the London office a minimum of once per week.

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Marketing:

  • Partnering with the Senior Leaders and Head of Departments to develop and lead the Marketing Strategy and Business Development at a local, national and international level

  • Managing the annual Marketing budget, working with each department Leader to ensure alignment with the Firm’s wider strategy

  •  Leading the Marketing and Front of House team to ensure client service is continually enhanced. There is also an exciting opportunity to grow the Marketing Team

  • You will be working with the HR and Recruitment team to champion the company’s culture, behaviours and values. Helping to promote the employer brand and growth strategy

  • Developing internal communications activity to ensure a collaborative, happy team across both offices

  • Working with the Marketing Team to create and implement marketing plans to promote the Firm’s services, brand visibility, client retention strategies, and client acquisition strategy

  • Overseeing digital marketing efforts. Managing, testing and measuring the effectiveness of a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis and much more. Increase our visibility in the digital sphere, driving traffic to the website

  • Overseeing the creation of compelling and relevant content for the Firm’s website, Enewsletters, social media platforms and other channels

  • Organising and participating in industry events, client events, conferences, and seminars to showcase the Firm’s expertise

  • Facilitating networking opportunities for lawyers and key stakeholders to expand the Firm’s professional connections

  •  Analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to make strategic decisions

  •  Collaborating with lawyers and practice teams to align marketing and business development efforts with the Firm’s overall goals and strategies

  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships

For this Head of Marketing role the employer is looking for:

  • Significant proven experience in marketing, ideally within legal/ professional services

  • Degree or similar qualification in a Marketing, Humanities, or Business-related subject,  Ideally you will have CIM Qualifications

  •  Leadership experience and skills, Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, Numerically and financially literate, comfortable working with metrics and budget management

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing including SEO, SEM, PPC, GA4 and social media marketing, Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
