The Person

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our specialist recruitment agency as an Office/Marketing Assistant. This role requires creativity, strong attention to detail, critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for various administrative and marketing tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our office and assisting the Operations Manager and Directors.

Full training will be provided for all aspects of the job, however proven experience in an administrative or marketing role - or recruitment - is preferable, although not necessary.

The Role

This varies depending on the needs of the business and will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • General day to day running of the office
  • Assisting with Client and Candidate marketing activities (including the creation and maintenance of case studies, proposals, pitch decks etc.)
  • Social media management (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Updating the website as needed and publishing SEO optimised blog posts
  • Coordinating internal social and charity events
  • Writing the monthly internal newsletter
  • Reporting and data management
  • Onboarding and supporting new starters in their first few weeks at Platform

Requirements

  • Ability to create on-brand, eye-catching graphical content
  • A good grasp of marketing tools and trends
  • Ability to write engaging content for different platforms and collaterals
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in using GSuite, Canva, and all major social media platforms
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
