Report Line: Reporting to CEO

Location: Dinnington, Sheffield, UK - Hybrid home/office permitted (Up to 2 days home office)

Remuneration: £40,000pa to £60,000pa - commensurate with experience

The Company

Our client is a small but rapidly growing technology based industrial services business. They develop and provide solutions to equipment operators, that enable them to reduce costs, enhance reliability and reduce carbon footprint. Our client's innovative real time analysis technology based systems allow operators of all types of machinery to gain valuable insight into the health and maintenance status of their equipment. Their markets and customers are global, with most of their business and opportunities being outside of the UK.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own, lead and drive all our marketing. Your primary focus will be around product marketing, initiating and driving our marketing campaigns to our target market segments globally and ensuring products are presented clearly with consistent messaging to the market with a compelling market proposition that is credible, quickly understood and results in inquiries and sales.

You will be expected to understand the core customer proposition of our product, and working with external agencies deliver and drive digital B2B marketing campaigns that reach target customers around the world.

The role will suit a talented and ambitious marketing professional who has the innovative & creative thinking, focus, discipline, organisation and desire to make full use of digital marketing to reach our global market.

The role will require:

  • The development of a deep understanding of our products, technologies and customer needs.
  • Market research to identify and characterise target market segments.
  • Ability to identify, distil and explain our market and product propositions clearly.
  • Ability to work with external agencies to define highly effective campaigns that deliver sales.
  • Maintain all corporate - external and internal - marketing and branding.
  • Using agency created templates, create market and customer customised product documentation.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualities and experience:

  • Highly organised with an ability and desire to handle multiple work streams and deliver high quality work to deadline.
  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience in a similar role with proven success.
  • Pro-active self-starter with an inquisitive nature.
  • Excellent English writing skills.
  • A good communicator able to explain complexity, simply.
  • Ability to work in a disciplined manner, alone and or as a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
