Our client is a specialist trainer in comprehensive technical training techniques who pride themselves on excellence and innovative training material, who are committed to empowering our learners to achieve superior results in their projects, are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join the business.

The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, cultivating relationships with clients, and expanding the customer base within the industrial sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. An understanding of technical/ industrial sales although is not essential but may help in the role.

Day to day duties include…

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market, including looking at key industries and geographic regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to meet their training needs.
  • Update and maintain a prospect database.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, presentations, and other sales collateral to support sales efforts.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, activity reports, and other relevant information to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our training programs and build brand awareness.
  • Work closely with the operations and finance team to ensure seamless delivery of training programs and exceptional customer experiences.

Skills and abilities…

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 3 years of sales experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools.
  • Marketing experience with an understanding of the use of social media
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Salary

£35,000 - £37,000 + Commission + Company bonus scheme

Working Hours

Core hours 9am – 17.30pm Monday to Friday

(Some flexibility may be required to attend events etc at times)
