Role: Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Here at Gousto we have an exciting opportunity in the form of Senior Digital Marketing Manager. Reporting into the Head of Acquisition you will be responsible for paid search, display and video, a pivotal role supporting our Customer Acquisition & Growth! 

As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will be a part of our Activate Tribe. You will work with a wide range of teams; from software engineering to drive technical improvements, through to Brand & PR teams and external agencies. Your approach to problem solving is very structured, and you have a strong analytical toolkit (you are comfortable with Excel!).

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Set the vision and strategy for paid search, display and online video, executing campaigns across a range of mid-funnel (consideration) and DR (acquisition) objectives
  • Develop a structured, measurable testing approach to improve performance across these channels
  • Utilise a mixture of attribution and incrementality methods to measure performance
  • Work with the Brand & PR team, and collaborate with external agencies to deliver coordinated plans for your areas
  • Work closely with the other members of the Acquisition marketing team to share best practice, and act as an authority within your scope
  • Be an active and influential contributor to the relationship with Google, Microsoft & others
  • Partner with leads in other functions across the business to develop your channels, including technology and proposition
  • Be a positive and active member of the Acquisition & Retention team, role modelling our ownership principles both within and outside the team  

Who You Are: 

  • Strong Digital Marketing experience within paid search, display and video, especially within the Google stack, with a good understanding of the full mix of acquisition marketing channel
  • Experience of working in a Tech driven based consumer, DTC, Retail, Ecommerce or subscription based company or start up 
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to contextualise business impact of running your activity using data from multiple sources
  • A motivated and energetic marketer, comfortable working at pace and navigating ambiguity
  • An excellent team player: good at building relationships in cross functional teams and a voice of authority for the areas where you are a subject matter expert
  • Very organised - adept at managing multiple marketing channels and work streams simultaneously
  • You naturally take initiative and are a self-starter, and are not afraid to use your voice (whether it’s to ask for help, offer suggestions, or to inspire change by questioning the norm.)
