Main Purpose of the Job

Experienced Document Contoller for Europe. Must know the difference from mechanical / electrical drawings, etc

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a professional, proactive approach, preferably a degree. You will be an effective communicator and have experience in administration sector/document controller. This role would suit a candidate with an organised and methodical nature who is happy to work individually and remotely.

Previous experience as Document Controller in construction industry is prefferable. 

Duties are as detailed below:

  • Controlling company and project documentation
  • Must know the difference from mechanical / electrical drawings
  • Following and improving document control procedures
  • Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards
  • Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals
  • Producing document progress reports for senior managers
  • Conducting regular reviews and document audits
  • Using computers to organise and distribute documents within a company
  • Helping in the planning stages of a specific project
  • Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion

Skills, interest, and qualities:

  • The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
  • Strong math’s and IT skills – Excel experience required
  • The ability to work on your own
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation
  • Proactive approach to each task given
  • Attention to detail to ensure documents are accurate and made to specifications
