Karen Millen is recruiting for a Senior SEO Manager to manage SEO strategy on a maternity cover contract.  The Senior SEO Manager will be responsible for the delivery of organic growth across global markets, acting as a specialist in site optimisation and technical auditing to identify areas for improvement.

 

The primary role of the Senior SEO Manager includes developing and executing effective and localised strategies, improving Karen Millen’s visibility in search engine results to attract quality traffic and reduce reliance on paid channels.  The role requires a high degree of technical expertise and experience in executing a content strategy across multiple touchpoints.

What you will be doing

  • Delivery of international SEO strategy and outlook
  • Manage a team of SEO specialists
  • Develop and execute sustainable SEO campaigns to drive traffic, revenue and new customer acquisition
  • Conduct advanced search behaviour and audience research
  • Test and support execution of a platform migration to protect organic traffic, revenue and market share
  • Achieve a technically sound site to drive improved visibility and efficient crawling
  • Drive forward speed and performance metrics that impact customer journey and organic visibility, and produce recommendations for improvement
  • Execute a content strategy that aligns with consumer search data, brand moments and social trending topics
  • Manage a centralised content plan that drives organic growth but supports other key areas like social and loyalty
  • Identify trends and content opportunities with social listening and keyword tools
  • Collaborate with brand teams to execute a search-led strategy for key social channels like TikTok and Pinterest, optimising for high demand keyword clusters we want to own in the space
  • Manage a budget that delivers a high return on investment
  • Align all SEO activity with the digital and brand channels to land campaigns at the right time and ensure optimum results
  • Analyse and draw insight from third party analytics data and crawling platforms to provide leading insights via weekly and monthly reporting
  • Provide detailed analysis on campaigns and their impact on traffic and overall organic revenue
  • Act as a voice for SEO within the business, leading education of the channel to teams who play a key role in maximising growth
  • Stay abreast of Google’s evolving algorithm and SERPs changes and test new tactics to push forward performance and stand out against the competition

  • Strong communicator & leadership skills
  • Experience managing a team
  • Technical SEO experience
